LUBIN STUDENTS ONLY! JUNIOR STANDING OR ABOVE

With a rich cultural life, Rio de Janeiro qualifies as one of the most vibrant study abroad destinations. It’s the perfect place for those looking to dive head first into Brazilian culture and the majestic beaches along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Who knows, maybe you will start by learning Samba; a Brazilian music dance form that was invented by the Afro-Brazilians. Either way, rest assured that the cultural learning opportunities of this dynamic city in South America are endless; and they have to be given that Rio has been dubbed the “Carnival Capital of the World.” Let’s not forget that Rio also serves as a convenient location for those looking to travel to other major cities such as Sao Paulo and Salvador. Keep a look out for the small monkeys you will pass on your way to class; rumor has it they are known for giving high-fives.
